Achieving a ‘Natural Vivid Pop’ on my lovely model Gina, using a freehand lightening technique, creating internal dimension! Then painting vivids on the rinsed/washed/dried freshly lightened areas in a block stack pattern to create that ‘pop’ ‘wow’ or prism if you will, factor!
Color Products/Tools Used:
Wella Freelights & 30vol (for creative control)
PH Bonder (to keep integrity of hair)
Joico Color Intensity in Peacock Green& Indigo &Magenta ( to create a natural vivid pop for her dark hair)
Color Trak bowls and brushes (quality, used a denser brush for more control of product while lightening)

Steps: mix appropriate amount of lightener with developer then add appropriate amount of PH bonder all according to manufacturers directions.
Free hand placement depending on desired finished results, open air process only according to manufacturers directions. I watched the hair to ensure it did not over or under develop and rinsed at desired stage.
Washed and rough dried then sectioned to apply vivids. Used parchment paper to keep out of guests face for first section, then meshed each section together by color placement, process according to manufacturers directions.

A/G (my guest likes more natural products this suits her desires for that and her hair type and styling needs as do all of the selections used)
Smooth Shampoo -coconut and aragon oil hydrate
Sleek Conditioner -ph 4.0-5 sleek shiny controlled hair
Cloud light volumizing mousse 98% plant based; aromatherapy
Flexible hold hair spray-all hair types

Olivia Garden round brush (my fav brushes super quality)
CHI ionic blow dryer ( quality healthy hair)
