Institute Metrad and Andullation Therapy

The Metrad Institute: medicine and traumatology meet thanks to the work and experience

We visited the institute run by Dr. Eduardo Sanches Osorio, specialist in podology
and musculoskeletal disorders,
director of the group 'Ergodinamica' and main promoter of Metrad.
We use andullation therapy with physiotherapy and apply it to many pathologies,
either as a specific treatment, or as an integrated treatment,
for the reabsorption of oedema and bruising, to promote blood circulation
and to treat certain specific pathologies.
It plays a major role in to improve the results of
specific physiotherapy treatments. Sometimes I use it as a separate therapy,
but as mentioned earlier I often integrate it into an existing therapy.
The treatment is extremely beneficial for the stimulation of the lymphatic drainage
and the blood supply to conditions such as tendon disorders, it improves circulation
and thus promotes tissue repair. We have had remarkable results
when applied to plantar fasciitis.
