Vivisection (Full Video)

Описание к видео Vivisection (Full Video)

Hyenas pick away at a soon to be dead wildebeest.

This animal is most certainly in hemorrhagic shock due to massive external trauma and the blood loss associated with such injuries. High adrenaline levels and endorphins associated with shock act as painkillers, allowing the animal to sit there patiently while the gruesome twosome slowly grinds him down.

The predatory source of this misery worries not about the status of their quarry, they are only concerned with their own well being and packing as much flesh into their cavernous midsection as is feasible. The prime directive of every predator is to eat, killing is more often than not a by-product of this need to feed.

There are obvious exceptions, but when the conditions are optimal and the opportunity to silence their nagging innards presents itself, whether the subject of their midday meal is alive or dead only matters if it’s a safety concern. Flailing hooves and wildly swinging horns can do serious damage at close range, but if these hazards can be kept at bay during the banquet, killing is not necessary.
