Can we handle Europe's most dramatic anchorage? Sailing Skye | Ep 14

Описание к видео Can we handle Europe's most dramatic anchorage? Sailing Skye | Ep 14

Sailing our own boat to Skye has been a dream for both of us for a while now - in this week's episode we finally make it happen. We anchor in Loch Scavaig, known as Europe's most beautiful and most dramatic anchorage - it certainly delivered on both fronts. We hiked from the boat up to the top of Sgurr Na Stri, a 500m tall mountain with views over the entire Black Cuillin ridge, the Small Isles and of Delfino anchored below us. After a blustery and scary night it was time to leave and head for Canna, breaking up our journey to the Outer Hebrides. And we had some more attempts at picking up a mooring ball when we arrived that, as usual, didn't go quite to plan.
