Sleeping in the boundaries of Tikal National Park was a dream come true at the Jungle Lodge Hotel in Tikal Guatemala. After staying in Flores, Guatemala for one night I knew I wanted to get closer to the ruins which were an hour away. So I booked a stay at the Jungle Lodge the only hotel located on the property of Tikal National Park. Want to stay overnight in Tikal National Park? By staying in the suites or dorm style rooms at the Jungle Lodge Hotel you can take a sunrise tour, explore all day with an archeology tour, and then go to a sunset tour to see Tikal's beauty anytime of day.

Also it was pretty magical to view the wildlife of the Peten region in Guatemala. Tikal is the largest Mayan ruins in Guatemala and one of the largest Mayan settlements ever.
