This video explains how to use pegs and columns to combine different movements for a character. The example I show has 3 different movements:

1. A constant wobble on 2 cars, to simulate driving along a bumpy road.
2. A single large jump for both cars.
3. Individual movements showing the 2 cars going faster and slower and one overtaking the other.

Because these are setup on 3 different pegs (or columns on the XSheet), you can edit them separately. So for instance, once all 3 are setup, you can still change your mind on the timing of the car chase without affecting the bumpy road. Or you can decide how bumpy the road is. Maybe make it less so. Or you can decide to move the timing of the jump.
