Retro Littlest Pet Shop

I noticed a few of you are LPS fans so I thought I would show you the original Littlest Pet Shop toys that I grew up with!
They were made by the now defunct Kenner Parker toy company, which was founded in 1946 in Ohio. The company was aquired by Tonka in 1987 (although still made toys under the Kenner name) and Tonka was purchased by Hasbro in 1991. Kenner's product lines were merged into Hasbro in 2000, which is why the original LPS had Kenner's name but the new ones are manufactured under Hasbro.

These were my favourite childhood toys and I collected nearly all of them. The special thing about them was the fact they each did something different and I loved that they came in their little cages and carriers.
