Honda NC700XD Brake Line Replacement - Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit

Описание к видео Honda NC700XD Brake Line Replacement - Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit

I had to replace the original 3012-series rubber brake lines on my bike because they had become so flexible that even when bled, I could pull the brake lever all the way to the grip. I couldn't wait any longer; I had to overhaul the entire brake system from the lines to the calipers. I ordered the brakes from probrake.de—not a promotion, but they sent good-quality lines and fittings. However, when I ordered a top line 3cm longer, they sent one that was 3cm shorter. I returned it at no cost, they inspected the fittings, and the correct size brake line was in my hands within a week.

I decided to give my Honda the attention it needed because the brakes were failing, the TÜV (technical inspection) was coming up, and the parking brake hadn't been working properly for years. Eventually, it stopped altogether. I made a list of what needed to be done and recorded videos about these tasks; this is the third episode of an eight-part series. I ordered original Honda parts by part number, which ultimately amounted to nearly 100 different part numbers. Even though I bought from the cheapest online shop, the cost of parts still exceeded €1200.

Without advertising, I recommend the website http://webike.de; I could order almost everything there much cheaper.

I'm not a professional mechanic; this is a hobby, as is making videos, and my bike is used for commuting, hence why it's dirty and well-used. Let's move past these formalities!
