This area is beautiful at all times of the year. This time we were happy to see fresh snow in the mid of September. The waterfalls are all over the route and look spectacular. Time to time one can see a self-service alpine shop - which is not rare in Switzerland. The way down was a little bit slippery, so hiking poles and an extra pair of pants could be useful this season of year.
