Han River Cruise, Lotte World, Seokchon Lake, Hongdae & Baekbin Crossing✨ | 5 Days in Seoul pt. 2

Aada and Heikki’s 5-day adventure in Seoul unfolds with a rich variety of attractions, delectable cuisine, and charming neighborhoods.🏘️ Armed with our 3-day Seoul Passes, we embarked on a memorable nightlight cruise along the picturesque Han River.📸 Prior to the cruise, we strolled through Yeouido Park, where locals indulged in picnics and savored street food delights. As night fell, the city illuminated, offering a breathtaking vista from the water.🌃🌌

The following day, we sought thrills at Lotte World Adventure theme park, although the weekend crowds limited us to just 6 rides.🎠🎢 Nevertheless, we wholeheartedly recommend a visit, especially for ride enthusiasts with some spare time to spare! Don’t forget to check the Magic Island, the outside part of the amusement park.🏰

With the weather turning warmer and the sun gracing us with its presence, we marveled at the cherry blossoms near Seokchon Lake.🌸✨Amidst the lively atmosphere, we stumbled upon a festival near Lotte Department Store, adding to the festive ambiance. Seeking solace from the bustling streets, we explored the serene tombs of the King and Queen of the Joseon Dynasty.🌳🦋

Bookworms will find comfort in the stunning Starfield Library within Coex Mall, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling shopping scene.📚☕️For non-book enthusiasts, Coex Mall provides ample shopping opportunities to indulge in.🛍️🎀

Our final day adopted a slower pace as we savored an early lunch at a renowned Tonkatsu restaurant, Cochon Tonkatsu, near Yonsei Univ Modoo Street.🥘 During noon, we explored the quaint neighborhood of Yeonnam-dong, pausing to capture moments in front of the charming Yeonnamdong Cherry Blossom House.🤩 Cake loveres must visit Antique Coffee for a delightful treat amidst the cozy ambiance.🎂

Our day culminated with shopping in Hongdae, where trendy boutiques abound. Despite the fitting restrictions in some shops, larger establishments like M-Playground offered fitting rooms, easing our shopping misery. As twilight approached, we farewell the city near Baekbin Road, savoring the last glimpses of its luminous beauty.🚅🛤️

Our journey concluded at Seoul Station, where Heikki and my paths diverged after fond farewells. While Aada returned to the KAIST campus, Heikki had a few more days to enjoy the vibrancy of Seoul.🏙️
