Installing circlips, or wire locks can be a frustrating task of fitment and removal, often without the correct specific tools on hand. Here Andre calmly shows us how fit and remove your pistons to/from your conrods via a fully floating wrist pin for the example using basic tools.

There are many specialist tools you can use for this task to avoid the frustration that range in price, but for this demonstration, we chose to use a simple and affordable jeweller's flathead screwdriver while being careful not to unnecessarily gouge or damage any surfaces.
