But it is odd that finger-shapes (hastas) are so central - not that that disappoints.That sort of "diction" is not native to "Han" dance, but comes from Indian court and temple dances. Which suggests that "classical" means 4-6 centuries AD: Dunhuang.

How refreshing to see so many middle/high school girls working to learn this very demanding parallel to ballet. But again here too, no boys. Must it always be a gender thing?
