It’s already three (3) days into the new calendar and for those of us in sales, we know all too well that each day counts.

My day today was pretty productive and that because I stick to my goals but I also started leveraging more in the technology to help support my activity.

Here are some of the things I did to have a productive day:

1) Used a space that was quiet. That’s always important, fewer distractions the better.

2) Started writing down my objectives in my notebook. The old school way is still relevant and helps you remember what needs to get done sometimes as writing support NLP.

3) I started transferring info from my notebook to my phone. Your phone is possibly one of your most powerful tools for business. But for most people this heavily underutilized. Use apps like Mail, Reminders, Notes, Camera/Video, Clock, etc. to help keep you on track. Also, there are some great 3rd party apps as well to help support you.

4) Vidyard: This is a video host it service that allows you to send video links to your clients to turn boring emails into engaging emails throughout your sales funnel. Vidyard is free to a point and I highly recommend it to all sales and business professionals.

5) HubSpot CRM: Apart from being a Solution Sales Partner with HubSpot we are also strong users and advocates for this platform. Like VidYard, HubSpot is also free to a point but the amount of functionality you get for free is amazing. You can learn more about HubSpot at www.hubspot.com
