The anti-Mullerian hormone (#AMH) level in the blood can be used as an indicator of ovarian reserve and is closely related to the number of follicles present in the ovaries. Although the hormone is produced by both men and women, it's important to understand that the levels in men and women vary. During a woman's reproductive life, AMH levels are critical to the development of her sex organs.

The Anti-Mullerian hormone test is an important tool for women undergoing fertility treatment. The AMH level is a good indicator of ovarian reserve. Women whose AMH levels are higher than 1 ng/mL have normal ovarian reserve. If their levels are lower, however, they might need to undergo #IVF or egg freezing to increase the chances of conception. So, this hormone test is a useful tool for those women who are having difficulty conceiving.

Although AMH levels tend to decline with age, this hormone is still vital in determining whether you can have a baby. A low level of anti-Mullerian hormone can signal problems in getting pregnant, especially if you are reaching menopause. AMH levels also help you know if your ovarian treatment is working. This test also allows doctors to determine whether your fertility is still in a good state.

However, there is a limit to how much AMH can be detected. Currently, doctors recommend retesting AMH levels once every 12 months, but that may not be sufficient for women who have no fertility issues. This test should be performed according to the age and level of AMH. But don't worry! There's a cure! You may not even need to take AMH pills - there's no need to go through all the hassle.

Low AMH levels are associated with a lower chance of conceiving. However, the fact that your level of AMH is lower than what it should be does not mean that you cannot conceive naturally. It may mean that you're undergoing PCOS, which is a medical condition that can impair your ability to conceive naturally. Your doctor may recommend treatment to increase your AMH levels and improve your chances of conceiving.
