Birder, Conservationist, Educator, Author, and Divisional Forest Officer at Head Quarters of Wildlife Circle Dharamshala. His contributions towards the protection of Pong wetland and its ecosystem has brought laurels to him. He photographed 669 species of birds in the state of Himachal Pradesh, which is documented in two volumes of Birds of Himachal Pradesh. His contributions in the Vulture Institute conservation program for White-rumped Vulture are unparalleled as the vulture population in Himachal Pradesh has bounced back strongly with nests number going up to 400+ in 2019-20 from 26 nests in 2004-05. He worked extensively in Himachal Pradesh to address the Man-Animal interface and rescuing animals since 2003. He is an excellent storyteller and is involved in providing education and awareness sessions on the identification of flora and fauna, and the handling of wild animals (mainly Snake species) organized by Forest Department, WWF, Training institutes, etc.
