Enjoy this spectacular full power static takeoff to the north out of Jackson Hole Airport aboard one of Delta’s A319s bound for Salt Lake City. Watch for the view of Grand Teton peaking out of the clouds as we turn around to the south over the Snake River and the valley below. The CFM56 engine buzzaw seen here is easily some of the best Ive ever shot, and the hot-and-high capabilities of the A319 aircraft can be clearly seen in this video. Watch for the brake release upon engine spoolup and notice how little runway is used to reach takeoff speed. Thanks for watching!
