Both Sides Now (with lyrics)

聽障家庭裡唯一擁有正常聽力的人，能夠靠音樂找到自己的一片天嗎？電影“CODA”（中文譯名“樂動心旋律”）是一部激勵人心，令人感動的電影。它得到2022年的奧斯卡最佳影片、改編劇本以及男配角三項大獎。我用這部電影裡女主角參加大學徵選的MV片段改變成我的版本，裡面Emilia Jones唱歌的片段就是電影裡的場景。

這是一首帶有人生哲理禪意的歌曲。我們因不同的心境，看待事情事情就會有不同的結果。事情的本質沒有變，真正變化的是人的對當時環境的感受。不同的感受也賦予了事情不同的意義。變化萬千的雲朵是如此、情感是如此、人生何嘗不也是這樣呢。渺小如人類，只是宇宙萬物中的滄海一粟，如何能夠參得透這些虛無飄渺，抓不住也放不開的抽象事物呢。

Both Sides Now是一首很有哲學意境的歌曲，由60年代的加拿大籍才女歌手Joni Mitchell在1967年所創作。最早由Judy Collins於1968年灌錄單曲唱片，1969年Joni Mitchell才親自演繹並收錄於其Clouds專輯內，令此曲再度廣受注目，2000年一再翻錄，經典不滅。

Both Sides, Now 用詞淺白、押韻對仗工整，就像是一首詩。數十年來不斷有人翻唱，隨著歌手的不同演繹，效果韻味，截然不同。2004年美國音樂雜誌Rolling Stone把此曲歸入經典金曲500首，位列171（The 500 Greatest Songs of all time），Joni Mitchell亦先後取得八次葛萊美奬。
