Rolex Submariner 16610 Review | The Last Classic Rolex?

Today on Shah Lusso we have a Rolex watch review featuring the Submariner 16610 - also known as the Pre-Ceramic Submariner.

This 40mm oystersteel, non-maxi case non-supercase Rolex Submariner debuted in 1988 and lasted all the way till its replacement by the 116610LN in 2010.

It features the Rolex Calibre 3135 with a 48 hour power reserve, quickset date, and the case has 300M water resistance in part thanks to its Triplock crown. The beauty of the Rolex Submariner 16610 is that it carries all the modern refinements of the current Submariner 116610LN (except for the ceramic bezel & modern bracelet) without any of the drawbacks one would associate with a watch that dates back to the late 80's.
