GOLD PROLOGUE // INTERVIEWS // RACE | WILDWOOD ROCK EXTREME ENDURO

It's finally race day at the Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro! I've thrown a bit of everything into this video for you, but I'm really excited to share some of the rider interviews - I managed to slip past security and speak to some of the BEST riders in Australia! We get their thoughts and strategies for the big race, info on bike and tyre setup as well as some post-race dissection - really cool stuff!

There's a bit of action from the Gold class riders doing their prologue runs too - while they had just as much trouble as some of the Silver and Bronze riders, you can really see the more advanced techniques of the Gold riders coming into play on this incredibly tough course. They crash much more gracefully!

Out in the race field I managed to get a fair bit of footage - I reckon it's almost as hard clambering up and down the hills with a camera as it is trying to race a bike up the hills here! It’s incredibly hard to try and watch the action, remember to hit record and also not fall over and break an ankle or wrist.

Congratulations to Wade Ibrahim on his win this year - it was by far the most challenging track that punters have seen at Wildwood and Wade just took it in his stride.

A big thank-you to all of the riders that took the time to speak to me on such a busy weekend too - it’s a long and stressful weekend in itself without having cameras in your face.
