Train young athletes with the Six-Shooter youth training basketball goal. This practice basketball goal for children is designed to be attached at six different rim height settings for little league youth play. It can be adjusted to 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9 feet. In this demonstration video, you’re taken step by step through the process of setting up and installing the Six-Shooter training goal on top of a regulation 10-foot basketball goal.
How to set up the Six-Shooter (see video for detailed instructions):
1. Configure the rim bracket that attaches to regulation 10-foot goal on the back side of the unit.
2. Determine the height at which to set up the Six-Shooter and position the rim bracket along the vertical length of the backboard to the desired height.
3. Secure the rim bracket at the desired height on the back of the backboard.
4. Set up the rim on the front side of the backboard.
5. Remove the rim from its storage position and secure in its play position.
6. Prepare Six-Shooter to be attached to a regulation 10-foot high goal.
7. Standing on a 2-foot platform, lift the Six-Shooter up to the 10-foot regulation goal.
8. Once the unit is resting on the regulation goal and it is rotated so it sits square with the court, you can trap the Six-Shooter rim bracket and secure the rim so it’s ready for play.
