Let’s say you have weekly time table with tasks or to do for each day.
In this table you want to automatically highlight today’s weekday and respective row or column.
We can do this using Conditional formatting.
After applying conditional formatting when we open our excel file with this time table, today’s weekday row or column going to be auto highlighted.
This is very easy just follow steps show in video.

Formula used for Conditiona formatting
=TEXT(TODAY(),"ddd")=$A3
