Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United States President Donald Trump will meet on February 13 in Washington. The development comes days after the Ministry of External Affairs said it was in talks with the US for an early visit by the Prime Minister. This will be PM Modi's first bilateral visit to the US since Trump took the oath of office for the second time. Additionally, the Prime Minister will be among a select few foreign leaders to travel to Washington, DC, on a bilateral visit within weeks of Trump's inauguration. As per the plan, the Prime Minister will travel to Washington, DC, after concluding his two-day visit to Paris, officials said. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that India and the US were trying for PM Modi's early visit to the US to further deepen the partnership between the two countries.
