Ahead of her performance at Grand Junction's Elixir Festival on Friday 12 April, Palestinian songstress Ruba Shamshoum performs 'Albik Balad' (Your Heart is a Country) at London's Grand Junction, in the stunning Chapel of St Sepulchre.

This April (12 April - 2 May 2024), celebrate arts, music, and storytelling from the Middle East and North Africa in the spectacular setting of Grand Junction's neo-Gothic church. Our programme features a rich blend of theatre, music, Eid celebrations, workshops, and food, celebrating contemporary arts.

Presented by Grand Junction, Elixir, rooted in the Arabic al-‘iksīr (also known as the Elixir of Life), is a symbol of healing. The festival connects the diverse cultures that make up our community in celebration and hope, showcasing a vibrant lineup of international and local contemporary artists, including the Ayoub Sisters, Ruba Shamshoum, Olive Jar theatre performance & more!
