The Carp Torch has been touted as The Only Carp Fly You Will Ever Need... Sometimes. And it backs up its reputation with it's performance. A fly that sits proudly on the surface for rising fish, and a fly that can slowly sink with a couple of short strips of line, or soaking the fly at your feet before casting, so you can present to carp feeding within the water column.
