The Association of World Citizens highlights that our unity with humanity and our acceptance of the entire planet as our home implies a process of change both in the attitudes of individuals and in the policies of States.
Humanity is clearly moving toward participation in the emerging World Society. Awareness of the emerging World Society and preparation for full and active participation in it is a necessary element of education at all levels, from primary school to university and adult education.
