Arduino Uno Signals TTGO T-Display Using Digital GPIO Pins.
A friend of the channel asks "ShotokuTech how can I make my Arduino Uno tell the TTGO T-Display when to do something?" If you have seen any of my other videos, you know I love to mash up simple example sketches to make something more complex. In this case let's use the example sketches "Button" and "DigitalReadSerial".

Oddly these both have the same wiring diagram. You need a pull down resistor of digit pins that are used for input, to pull them down to ground. Otherwise digital input pins are floating and you get random results. Push the input pin high by connecting it to the positive 5 volt side of the equation and your digital pin goes from zero to one.

So on the TTGO T-Display, with pin 2 set for input, pulled down with a 10k Ohm resistor to ground, we ditch the button and instead jumper that pin 2 over to pin 3 on the Arduino Uno set for output, high or low based on whether the button is pressed.
