Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k G1 - disassembly and repair

Описание к видео Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k G1 - disassembly and repair

I was bored and found a broken Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k on the internet for super cheap. Decided to get it and take it apart, see how it's built and what is wrong with it. Luckily I found the problem and was able to fix it!

Sorry for the long video, figured I'd upload it anyways for everyone to see. You can just skip through it :)

2 month update
###########

so it's been 2 months since I made this video until I decided to waste youtube server space and upload it. Since then the Ursa really has grown on me and I'm definitely going to keep it. Owning a professional camera like that was always a dream of mine but I could never afford one or justify the cost to just have fun with it. Also i'm happy that I could save this one from the e-waste and give it a new life. Up to now it has been working perfectly without a single issue.

I have been using it a lot and leaning lots about color grading, editing, sound recording and all that. The more I play with the Ursa, the more I appreciate the codec and the integration with DaVinci Resolve, as well as the dynamic range and color science of that beast. If I can imagine a look for a video, it lets me achieve it.

Best 350 I ever spent. Paired it with a nice used set of Meike S35 lenses, nice big screen, follow focus etc.
