"Writing a letter is a good way of communicating. There are times letters can deliver words that are hard to express and embarrassing to say. Rather than text messages, phone calls, or talking directly, I think writing letters is much more meaningful and delivers words better."

The above are extracts from Yoona's composition entitled "The Letter" which she wrote during her high school days. Click here to read her full composition. Read it and see how much it means to her when she writes or receives a letter. For her birthday this year, we will be doing an event: "A Little Love Letter For Yoona" which we hope will bring great joy to her. So please join us in this meaningful event. All you have to do is to write a letter to Yoona and we will deliver it to her as a birthday present.

How to send in your letter

Your letter should be hand written in Korean or English.
For overseas fans, please scan or take a photo of your completed letter. E-mail it to [email protected] and state the subject matter as "530 Event". We will print a copy of the letter and send it to Yoona.
Note: Please ensure your photo is clear with a resolution of 1 mega pixel or above. For scanned copy, the DPI should be at least 120 and above. The ideal is 300 DPI.

DEADLINE

The letters should be sent in by the 1st of May, 2012.
