Only You - JD-Xi Tutorial - Part Two

Here are some notes to go with the video:
Begin the song by playing the sequence on Digital Synth 2 for 4 bars and then bring in the Drums and Analog Synth (hold the shift button and press both Drums and Analog together.

Step 1: The verse begins in the standard position (no transpose) for two bars then transpose down (hold shift and press F) the display shows TRANSPOSE -7. This plays for 1 full measure and then transpose up (hold shift and press C) the display shows TRANSPOSE 0. This plays for half a measure and the transpose down (hold shift and press G) the display shows TRANSPOSE -5. for the remainder of the measure.
REPEAT STEP 1 ONCE

STEP 2: Transpose down to F for 1 measure up to G for 1 measure then up to C for 1 measure. Then back to F for 2 measures, G for 1 measure and then back to C.

STEP 3: Now bring in Digital Synth 1, turn up the level on SD2 (pos 5 and 13 on sequencer) and OHH (pos 7 on sequencer) and repeat steps 1 and 2. for the remainder of the song. Note: there is a slight variation during the middle lead break - listen to the original!

Now record the complete backing track
