Over the weekend during a podcast, a pair of clinical psychologists, uh, one was Dr. Harry Siegel, a clinical psychologist and senior lecturer in the psychology department at Cornell University. The other was Dr. John Gartner, a psychologist and former assistant professor at Johns Hopkins Medical University School. Well, they got together in this podcast and they talked about the fact that not only is Donald Trump's mental decline accelerating, but also the fact that the media seems to be completely ignoring this issue. Here is what Dr. Gardner had to say on the podcast. We're going to be documenting his cognitive deterioration. I always say to people, look at Donald Trump right now, because that's the best Donald Trump you're ever going to see, because dementia is a deteriorating illness and his rate of deterioration is accelerating. So not only does he say that it's accelerating, but he clearly says dementia. Now, in all fairness, Dr.

Gartner has not had the chance to examine Donald Trump. We do not have any brain scans. We do not have any, you know, sitting down on the couch with a psychiatrist type stuff. So this is speculative, and I think it is important to remember that. However, Dr. Gartner is trained to recognize these things, so when he says these things, it's best to take his word for it. Again, it would be better if we had brain scans or anything of that nature, but we do not. So we have to rely on these outside opinions. But Dr. Garner continued. I don't know what it will take for the mainstream press to actually ask the question. Is there something wrong with Trump's brain? I think even if he was caught wandering down fifth Avenue in his pajamas, they wouldn't ask the question. That's when Dr. Siegel chimed in and said, it's a disorder.

That doesn't get better. It gets worse when there's less structure. We're going to, uh, be seeing an interaction between the cognitive decline and the personality disorder, both of which are severe diagnoses for anybody, and this is for somebody who never should have been in power in the first place. Now, as I always point out, because I do think it is important to point this out, the press, the mainstream press for the most part, has completely ignored Donald Trump's very obvious mental cognitive decline. On the other hand, we are treated to articles once or twice a month about how bad Biden's brain is, right? Oh, he's deteriorating. Oh, it's getting worse. Oh my God. He didn't know the exact date that his son died off the top of his head, and it took him a moment to remember it. He did remember it, by the way. So let's have a congressional investigation into that. That's what happened. Trump, on the other hand, continuously slurs his words, doesn't

Know his own son's birthday, doesn't know how, how old his own son is, doesn't seem to know anything, can't remember which country is where, has no idea who he's running against. Confused Nikki Haley for Nancy Pelosi shrugs it off, says, oh, I did that on purpose. No, he didn't. These are symptoms and the media ignores them not at their own peril, but at the peril of this very country, because they are the ones that are supposed to be the fifth estate. They're the ones who are supposed to be asking the tough questions and reporting on the tough issues.
