JOAQUÍN SOROLLA - Best paintings

Joaquín Sorolla (1863-1923) was one of the most prominent painters of 19th and early 20th century Spain. His Impressionist style and his ability to capture light and color earned him international recognition.

As his reputation grew, Sorolla received numerous commissions from across Europe and America. In 1909, he held a solo exhibition at the Hispanic Society of America in New York, which was a great success and earned him international recognition.
