Rajdhani Reversing and Decoupling of Shunting Locomotive at Mumbai Central Station - RARE CAPTURE!

Описание к видео Rajdhani Reversing and Decoupling of Shunting Locomotive at Mumbai Central Station - RARE CAPTURE!

A rare capture of the Mumbai Central - New Delhi Rajdhani Express (Special) being reversed into Mumbai Central station, followed by the decoupling of the shunting locomotive.

Watch patiently as the 21 coach red LHB rake of the Rajdhani Express is slowly shunted into platform 2 of Mumbai Central station. The last coach (first one to be seen in the video) is a high capacity parcel van (HCPV) that was recently augmented with the Rajdhani Express a few months ago. The shunting locomotive pushing the train into the platform was a Bandra (BAMY) shed WDS-6 (36289). You can also see the railway staff decoupling the locomotive from the rake at the end.

It was indeed a pleasure to watch and capture the most important train of Western Railway at this slow and sedate pace before even beginning its journey.
