Somogear NGAL Unit Testing and Issue Update

Updated Test:
So I tried the o-ring as suggested by Somogear but that did not work. So I decided to do further testing to see if this might be isolated to the Vis Laser or is it affecting the IR Laser/Illuminator too. From the testing in the video, It doesn't appear to be affecting the IR Laser/Illuminator. Unfortunately I won't be able to test fire until the weekend of 10/10 and 10/11 for our 1st night shoot.


From Previous Test:
Actual test of the Somogear NGAL Airsoft Clone. I've had the unit for a few days now. Got this mounted to a MK18 and test out to see if it holds zero.
Looks like my unit has a possible connection loose inside the unit. The unit turns off after each shot. Was able to bring the unit back and recreate this by gently tapping on the top right likely where the connections to the lasers are. So far only tested and visible laser is affected. Have not tested to see if the IR laser or illuminator is also affected.

I've contacted Somogear about the issue. Their suggestion was to add an o-ring inside the battery compartment. Will try that out and report back.
