Ryobi S430 4 Cycle Trimmer Won't Start
Took It apart and found melted plastic around where the cam gear is on the cam shaft. This trimmer had an oil leak, and was run dry on oil, but didn't seize. The cam, un-lubricated, gave some resistance and the timing belt continued driving the plastic cam gear and broke the cam gear. Cam Gear isn't sold individually, so this is trash.

I personally converted to electric weed wacker with the Milwaukee version, since I have other Milwaukee tools and batteries, and see no reason for a gas weed wacker any more. This is contrary to how I feel about electric blowers, and lawn mowers, but for a weed wacker electric is the way to go in my opinion - https://amzn.to/3IZU0m7
