Adding text to slides in Keynote is simple. To get text onto the slide, we just add a text box using the ( + ). Within the ( + ) button, tap the square option, here you will find multiple different colors of text and shapes that can be added to your presentation. Select the one that fits your presentation best. Once the text box is on the slide, double tapping it will give you access to the keyboard and you can start typing.

Once you have the text in your slide you are not stuck with the style of that text. The paintbrush tool gives options for adding more detail to your text boxes. Tap the text you wish to adjust, then tap the paint brush. You will have options for changing size, font, alignment and more of the text, add reflections or shadows, and also add borders and fill colors to you box. This give you unlimited ways to customize your presentation.
