You’re a finalist of Croc Pitch 2021, how do you feel?
My name is Ben Hosking, I’m the director and co-founder of Wewal Create, which is with ethics working to achieve lifestyle. To be a finalist at the Croc Pitch to me is a fantastic step forward and it’s one that I’m incredibly grateful for. We’ve done huge amounts of work through the development of our business in the last five years, and to be here delivering on stage to pitch to a room full of investors and potential interests of parties is a demonstration of just how much the Northern Territory is growing in the space of innovation and online presence.

After competing at Croc Pitch, what impact are you expecting?
I think the impact for us after Croc Pitch is going to be all about how we move forward, what’s the next step for us. This is our first sort of foray into the public market and letting people know what we’re doing in a real forum. So, I think for us it’ll be where do we take it from here? Are we going to go forward with crowd source funding or are we going to go out through the private market and seek a couple of funding? But first of all, it’s about stepping out into the public
