Dropping Like It's HOT - More heated arrow choice topics!

Choosing your arrow is important, there's so much to think about. If you're a typical U.S. bowhunter, then 40 yards is probably a common distance for many interactions. In this video I show you some simple ballistics at 40 yards and give you some important things to think about.
FOR THOSE OF YOU SHOOTING 2 PIN SIGHTS THIS IS CRITICAL!
Seeing the real pin gapping just at this midrange distance alone can be eye opening. The further apart your pin gap is, the BIGGER your opportunity to MISS if your ranging isn't perfect. Let's face it, even though we range an animal there's still lots of times where we maybe ranged a twig or grass in front of the animal so you may be a few yards off. Maybe the elk took a few steps. Any of these scenarios mean that the distance isn't 100% and the more your arrow is dropping the more that matters. You decide what's best for you- more speed or maybe more arrow weight depending on the type of animal. But going in with overkill in weight can cost you more than just penetration, it could cost you a miss.
