How to Digitize a Single Initial Luggage Tag in StitchArtist

Описание к видео How to Digitize a Single Initial Luggage Tag in StitchArtist

This step by step video teaches you how to digitize an "in the hoop" luggage tag starting with a single letter from a True Type font! When you start with a true type font object - most of the work is already done - editing can be fun, easy and a learning experience on how to better draw your own objects. Using the tools from StitchArtist L1, you will work with the drawn object and create an in the hoop luggage tag in the initial of your choice. This project walks thru the planning process of how the design will stitch out at the machine and continues into the software.
The style of the luggage tag is for marine vinyl or cork with an added "loop" for the placement of a grommet. If you'd like to use snaps or a rivet - make the "loop or tab" to be the size that you want. You will learn about motif fills in StitchArtist - there are over 200 built into the program AND we give you a free collection on the Embrilliance project blog which you can use to create the "bubble texture" shown in this project.

The project is finished with a satin border that also attaches the backing vinyl to hide the stitches and provide a finished back to your luggage tag. During this lesson, you will learn keyboard shortcuts to help you become a more efficient StitchArtist digitizer. Lisa also shares with you some digitizing techniques to help you create designs with fewer jump stitches and excessive overrun stitching - one of the wonderful features of learning to digitize with a full featured digitizing program instead of relying on automatic functions.
