There are many characters in Toy Story who are actually based on real toys that exist in our world. In the pilot episode of Toy Story: Fact vs. Fiction, we look at the real-life origins and evolution on Mr. Potato Head. We also discuss his portrayals in the Toy Story franchise, and how well he translated into the Pixar world.
