Martyn's Law

Martyn's Law is to ensure premises in the United Kingdom are prepared and protected against terrorist attacks, therefore also designed to help in reducing the impact of any type of terrorist incident. The Bill is one part of the Government's wider counter-terrorism strategy.

The Bill is for Martyn Hett who was killed alongside 21 others in the Manchester Arena terrorist attack in 2017. His mother Figen Murray and family have worked tirelessly to get this through the government.
