Part 3 - Sewer Collection Systems - Gravity vs Low-Pressure | Evaluating Your Options

Описание к видео Part 3 - Sewer Collection Systems - Gravity vs Low-Pressure | Evaluating Your Options

Join Keith McHale, Applications Engineer Project Manager – E/One Sewer Systems - for the last in a Series of Webinars comparing Gravity & Low-Pressure Sewer Collection Systems.

For over 50 years now, pressure sewer systems incorporating semi-positive displacement grinder pumps, have been providing a viable, sustainable, and cost-effective solution
for communities considering new wastewater collection systems or replacing failed gravity systems and failed septic systems. Pressure sewer systems provide critical infrastructure
that has lower construction costs, fewer community impacts (lower social costs), and lower environmental impact and disturbance when compared to the construction of new gravity
sewer or the renewal of failed gravity systems.

This 3-Part webinar series will present a comparative overview of gravity sewers and low-pressure sewers. Discussions in the first two sessions will include an overview of wastewater
collection systems, system equipment and components, operation & maintenance overview, basic system design principles. The third session will explore the concept of a Triple Bottom Line approach to implementing infrastructure projects. The TBL discussion will include an overview on a life cycle cost analysis and the benefits of a structured life cycle cost analysis model to assist in evaluating wastewater collection system options.
