Overlanding Inyo National Forest to Bodie Ghost Town | Exploring Bodie State Historical Park

Описание к видео Overlanding Inyo National Forest to Bodie Ghost Town | Exploring Bodie State Historical Park

In this episode, we are in the Inyo National Forest heading North. We stumble upon remnants of a mining camp while searching for a suitable campsite. The next morning we do a taste test of Overland Coffee Company coffee. #notsponsored

Next we head to the largest ghost town we have every explored. The Bodie State Historical Park. Near the Eastern Sierras, Bodie California started as a mining camp in the 1850's and was a boomtown by the late 1870's. The town still has roughly 110 structures and is an excellent place to explore mining history. While walking the town, we learned quite a bit about life here and how Bodie was a perfect example of a true Wild West Ghost Town.

Julsi was fascinated by the 'old houses' and tried to find all the buildings with missing floors. We were also amazed at life 'back then' and could have spent hours exploring the town and museum. But as always, there's never enough time and we had to leave to find our next campsite.
