Cleveland area weather forecast: Skies clear for a beautiful Mother's Day, summer warmth on Monday

Showers are rolling out this evening leaving clouds through the overnight. The lingering cloud coverage will obscure the encore of the Northern Lights tonight. Winds will become lighter as temperatures cool into the upper 40s by daybreak.

Mother's Day will be anything short of beautiful. Skies will trend clearer through the day. Afternoon highs will recover into the mid 60s with light winds. South winds crank up come Monday. A warm front will lift through the area Monday morning. A quick morning downpour is likely. Expect milder air to blow in through the afternoon with bright skies. Tuesday will include widespread showers chances.
