Despite the high pressure, Marcel Hirscher took both silver and gold during the world championship in Åre, Sweden. His success continued during the World Cup Finals in Andorra. At the same time the former world junior champion, Marco Odermatt entered the World Cup Finals with a successful race while Alexis Pinturault finished off a splendid year with one of the best slalom seasons in his career.
