INSURANCE FOR YOU AND ME_EPISODE 19-HEALTH INSURANCE-WELCOME REFORMS

This video deals with various changes brought in by IRDA through their master circular dated 29th May 2024 in Health Insurance. These changes being introduced by the Regulator is expected to reform the way health insurance is done in the country and change the health insurance landscape. This episode is meant to present a simple explanation of these changes.
Many of the customers feel that the health insurance is either not useful to them or it is too complicated for them to understand and buy. The various episodes in the health insurance series drives home the necessity of this insurance, introduces the health insurance topic to them in a simple language, explains the various provisions that are to be understood by the customer before purchase of Insurance, provides guidance on how to avoid unnecessary rejection of claims and also gives an idea on how the claims are calculated.

The video is a part of series named Bhaskar's "Insurance for you and me" wherein I am simplifying the General Insurance to make them easily understandable and usable for retail customers. The series also guides the customers on the Insurance products they need to have, the care needed to take while purchasing Insurance products etc.. This will also be useful to the practitioners of Insurance in clarifying the basic concepts.
