We take you right into the Dachstein mountain range – the Südwandhütte is a hiking destination that sits at 1,910 meters in the middle of the south wall of Dachstein with a big terrasse and impressive views.

The hike starts at the station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car and leads along a rocky but stable path directly below this cable car. Even in summer time a snowfield must be crossed on a small part of this route. Just after a short 40 minute walk, you will reach this beautiful destination. Along the entire route you will be accompanied by the imposing mountain panorama.
