Only the Arcane Trickster can use mage hand like this in interesting ways. This video demonstrates mage hand equipping a weapon and using speed potion without the negative effect.

Custom honor mode ruleset as I'm more-so doing this to mess around and test things out.

Level 5 Arcane Trickster.

Mage hand only has hill giant strength elixir and Hamarhaft equipped which it can pick up on its own.

Shadowheart is a 1 wizard/4 cleric camp caster. Mage armor on the hand, longstrider, lvl 3 aid, protection from poison, and concentrating on bull's strength which allows me to have double carry capacity and helps the mage hand with throwing enemies.

Mods are mainly QoL like getting rid of vfx, unlimited dyes, etc along with some outfits.

I made some mistakes during the fight, including overriding my 1d6 poison by dipping in fire (which does not add on together) and almost casting a spell to trigger the legendary reaction.
