It produces the medium to high-pressure air or gas that some applications need. Think laser cutting, plastics forming, PET bottle production, and leakage testing. While some compressors can achieve high pressure by themselves, they require a lot of energy. Coupling a booster with a standard compressor is more cost-efficient.
