📍Laxe es un municipio coruñés de la comarca de Bergantiños que se sitúa en la zona central de Costa da Morte y al sur de la Ría de Corme e Laxe, con una superficie de 37,48 km cuadrados y una población aproximada de 3.000 habitantes. El topónimo Laxe procede del término de origen celta “lagena”, que significa losa o piedra plana. Laxe es eminentemente costero, siendo la pesca y la agricultura la base de su economía.

Para llegar a Laxe desde la ciudad de A Coruña hay que recorrer en coche los 70 kilómetros que las separan y la forma más rápida y cómoda de hacerlo es tomar la AG-55 dirección Carballo, para dejar esta vía en la salida 60 hacia la AC-430 que nos llevará hasta la villa de Laxe.
