Celtic Harp Irish Music - O’Carolan Separation of Body & Soul / Garrett Barry Jig [FREE SHEET MUSIC]

Greetings from my happy place (other than underwater)!
I greened up my 27 string Camac Odyssey harp to blend into the beautiful landscape. And I had the perfect Aran sweater to fit in the background too :)
O Carolan's "Separation of Body & Soul" is a poignant melody with heart touching harmonies. I could play it for hours in a row, only making small variations to the left hand accompaniement. It is sad and soothing at the same time. I love playing it immediately followed by... you guessed it: Garrett Barry's Jig, which is at the opposite end of the mood spectrum! This is an Irish folk tune that fills you with energy and makes you want to dance. I love the contrast with the first piece and the fact that playing the 2 in combination makes you travel from darkness to light. I was inspired to play these 2 pieces in sequence after listening to talented French harpist Francois Pernel. I hope you will enjoy those pieces.

Free sheet music for both tunes is available on my website in the "Celtic Collection" sheet music section - my arrangement of "Separation of Body & Soul" is playable on 19 string from C to G, while Garrett Barry's Jig is playable on 20 strings from C to A.
